Pinky and Blue Boy

I hope you enjoy my Loopy version of Pinky and Blue Boy

I've always had a certain fascination with Thomas Lawrence 1700's paintings Blue Boy and Pinky. Obviously it was a different time and art and fashion were much different than today but there was just always somehthing rather strange and odd about the children depicted in the paintings. I hope you enjoy my rendition of the famous art work. I'm not really sure why Pinky ended up with a beret rather than a bonnet..I think it makes her look a bit more modern.

The pair are available in my Etsy shop

Wonderful Colleen! I think BlueBoy is my fave (although a tough call) - it has to be the little knickers! LOL

They are wonderful, I completely agree about the stiff poses of the original paintings... like tiny adults
