Hair

I've recently been follick-ly liberated. What a joy. By far the hardest part of making dolls for me is hair. I think it's because the hair really can make or break a piece.

So I've been through tutorials, looking through others work, books etc... trying all kinds of techniques and materials. Lately I've just acquired the 'what the hell' attitude. Wefting and gluing and just going banana's with the hair and wow what fun.

In another life I used to be a hair dresser, you would think I could style some hair. So I've been reverting back to my big hair, goth days and remembering the freedom I used to feel with others hair and mine and I believe it's paid off. This new series of dolls I've been working on definitely have less contrived hair and I think it's fun.

I like what you are doing with your doll's hair. I love the colours you are using too-that blue hair is lovely and beautifully styled!

The other day I was listening to this lady comedienne and someone asked her what color would she call her hair and she said "Ringling Bros. Red!"
I'm thinking that's what your first doll has too! LOL! and
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the blue color.
Everything is so great and Original!
(Guess what!! I finally finished several dolls, I'm still not exactly satisfied with them but... I've posted them and if you might have a minute, I'd love your critique on them!)
